This is your sister Dunia Shuaib and I’d like to bring your attention to a global crisis that is shocking. 1 in 4 people in the world are affected by food insecurity and almost 700 million people are severely malnourished. Tragically many of them are children. 

 It is utterly heartbreaking and seems unfathomable, though according to the UN, 25,000 people die EVERY SINGLE DAY due to hunger — 10,000 of them being young children who looked forward to growing up, achieving big things, and starting their own families.

 We have the power to change that at this very moment. For only $45 you can feed a family of 4 for an entire month. Let that sink in for a minute — an entire family of 4 for just $1.50 a day. Imagine the relief, the fulfillment, and the du’ā that would emanate from the hearts of those you help in these dire and life-depending moments. Join me and help secure a wholesome iftār for our brothers and sisters around the world.  My goals is to help 400 families.

 Alḥamdulillāh, I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Muslim Aid USA. Their Feed the Fasting program allows us to send food packages to families suffering throughout the month of Ramaḍān. Oftentimes, these families don’t have food to have suhoor or open their fast. You can provide a family in need with food to help them get through Ramaḍān. This year Muslim Aid USA are trying their best to help the most vulnerable by prioritizing widows and orphans.

 Our beloved Prophet ﷺ taught us, “Whoever gives iftār to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”
