Over 900,000 people, including innocent children, around the world are battling hunger. Those who survive don’t fare much better, facing a life of poverty, labour and hunger.

That’s why Charity Right provide school meals to help vulnerable children, including orphans, refugees and Hifz students, in eight countries strive for a brighter future: Palestine, Ethiopia, Sudan, Malawi, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey. 

Your donations will help provide daily school meals for children who live in some of the poorest areas around the world. The money we will raise will allow children to concentrate on their studies by providing them with nutritious meals, bringing them a step closer to achieving their dreams. 

Gaza, Palestine

There is a food crisis in Gaza. More than half a million people in Gaza – a quarter of the entire population – are now believed to be at the most severe Phase 5 'catastrophic' levels of hunger, meaning they are at high risk of starvation and death. Charity Right's work in Gaza is a lifeline providing food packs and hot meals to children and families. 

Hayat Yolu, Charity Right's on-the-ground partner, has been actively providing aid in Palestine since 2014. Their extensive experience uniquely positions them to adeptly overcome challenges related to the delivery of essential food and water in Gaza.

Charity Right remains committed to supporting the children of Palestine now by providing ongoing emergency aid and in the future by establishing a school meals programme in the country.

The Qur'an states: “Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.”

Working with Charity Right for this unique project through Ramadan allows us to reflect on the blessings Allah SWT has bestowed upon us, where we are fortunate to eat when we desire, yet others live a life when they are unsure of when they will have their next meal.
