Mississauga & Scarborough Nisa Homes are located in one of the most Muslim dense populations in the GTA. Many vulnerable women & children are in need of culturally competent supports and safe spaces to rebuild and heal. We receive 50+ calls inquiring about shelter space monthly. Your contributions will go towards providing many services that are needed for women and children at our Homes.

Nisa Homes is the first national group of second stage shelters for Muslim women and children in Canada. With 7 homes across Canada, we aim to ensure women and children have a safe place to turn to if they are experiencing domestic violence, homelessness or forced resettlement.

Through the services we provide, the 3 month length of stay, and the supports to find employment, education and housing, 85% of our clients have succeeded in becoming self-sufficient and independent.
